BW 8025 is an aliphatic steel wool resistant polyurethane acrylate. It exhibits outstanding resistance to steel wool and stains, excellent adhesion, good yellowing and alkali resistance, and a well-balanced hardness-toughness profile. It is primarily used in UV curtain coating lacquers and UV film-hardening coatings, as a topcoat for vacuum metallization (aluminum, tin, indium) on mobile phones and laptops, and in silver powder basecoat, colored coatings, and UV varnishes for plastics (PMMA, PC, ABS).
